Edyta Majewska
Edyta Majewska was born 1970 in Poland. She graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Photography. Edyta lives and works in Glasgow. She works with a number of media, including video, photography, performance, installation, and participatory art.
The stories she tells have personal background, but they touch upon universal issues. Her aim is to produce work which the audience can relate to and get through their own problems or stories.
She perceives the profession of an artist as one which demands strong moral, ethical, and social responsibility.
